Welcome
The TCPTC is a consortium of translational laboratory investigators that collaborate to conduct robust preclinical activity testing for new anti-cancer drugs in support of Texas-based clinical trials. TCPTC testing is carried out against panels of cell lines in vitro and also in vivo with panels of murine xenografts.
The TCPTC currently focuses on testing drugs for lung cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer. Testing of selected pediatric cancers can also be done as needed.
In addition to conducting preclinical drug testing with its existing in vitro and in vivo models, the TCPTC is establishing new validated cell lines in vitro and direct murine xenografts so as to improve the existing testing panels and provide a unique bank of validated and characterized cell lines and xenografts for both biological and preclinical studies.
